JPAG - PAST MEETINGSThursday 7th February 2013
Assuring the quality of medicines
Royal Society of Chemistry, London
The quality of the drug substance and the drug product is critical to ensure the safety and efficacy of the drug in patients. Qualified Persons have a critical role in releasing batches of pharmaceutical products and an appreciation of the analytical and regulatory developments in this area is key to the conduct of this role.
This symposium takes a strategic look at solving everyday quality problems. The continuing problem of how to deal with out-of-specification results is highlighted, and the securing of the API supply chain and the operation of the MHRA Surveillance Programme will be examined.
